The Fred Holden Trophy, a handicapped competition held in honour of the man who probably did more for this league than any other player in its history, will be run this year as a straight knockout competition.  

 

Before each round the handicaps for every player will be updated. If you lose a match don’t start moaning that so and so has got your handicap wrong, remember your handicap is directly linked to the current form in the league, it could be that you played below par or your opponent played exceptionally well. Also note that players must have played in at least six league games to be eligible to play in the cup semi finals and finals, a point overlooked by a couple of teams a few seasons ago with disastrous consequences.
